Appearance

Deep golden amber with subtle copper hues, reflecting the richness and depth of its blend.

Nose

Opens with bold smoky peat and sweet maltiness, layered with caramel, honey, and dried orchard fruits. As it evolves, subtle toasted oak and vanilla emerge.

Palate

Robust and full-bodied, featuring smooth honeyed sweetness, light smokiness, and spicy oak with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Rich dark chocolate, dried figs, and heather honey add depth, while a touch of citrus zest brightens the flavor.

Finish

Long-lasting and warming, with a gradual fade of boldness. Sweet malt, oak, and a hint of spice linger, complemented by a subtle mineral note reminiscent of the Scottish coastline.

How to Savour

The Northern Crown

Bold. Spiced. Distinctly Northern.


Ingredients:

- 60 ml Northern Pride Whisky

- 20 ml fresh lime juice

- 15 ml saffron-infused sugar syrup

- 2 dashes aromatic bitters

- 1 small pinch ground cardamom (optional but recommended)


Method:

- Shake all ingredients hard with ice

- Fine strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube


Garnish: Orange peel (expressed), single saffron strand or dehydrated orange wheel

Pride & Ginger Lime

A spicy-fresh refresher with an Indian street-drink vibe


Ingredients:

- 60 ml Northern Pride Whisky

- 15 ml fresh lime juice

- 10 ml honey or sugar syrup

- 2–3 thin slices fresh ginger (lightly muddled)

- Ice

- Top with soda


Method:

- Muddle ginger + syrup lightly

- Add whisky & lime, stir with ice

- Short pour into a rocks glass, top with soda

Masala Cola Flip

Familiar cola, elevated with subtle Indian spice


Ingredients:

- 60 ml Northern Pride Whisky

- 60 ml chilled cola

- 10 ml lime juice

- 1 pinch chaat masala or black pepper

- Ice


Method:

- Build over ice in a rocks glass

- Stir gently, finish with a lime squeeze
